Modern day church systems have very little to do with the teachings of Jesus Christ. A thousand years ago the Roman Catholic Church had nothing to do with the teachings of Christ. It ruled supreme over kings and illiterate nations. However, in the first century Christianity was identified by the basic, simple, even primitive teachings of Jesus Christ, a belief system based on love, brotherhood, peace, and faith in the Kingdom of God.
